Titans place OLB Bud Dupree on injured reserve

The Titans will be without OLB Bud Dupree for at least three games after placing the veteran on injured reserve.

The abdominal injury suffered by Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Bud Dupree will land the veteran rusher on injured reserve. The team announced the placement of Dupree on injured reserve on Saturday, a move which cleared a roster spot for tight end Tommy Hudson to be activated from injured reserve.

Dupree played only one snap before suffering the injury last week against the New Orleans Saints.

Landing on injured reserve means Dupree must miss at least three games before returning.

The Titans unofficial depth chart lists Ola Adeniyi as the backup behind Dupree at outside linebacker.

Signed by the Titans from the Pittsburgh Steelers this past offseason, Dupree has one sack, six quarterback hits and one forced fumble in seven games in 2021. He has played only 260 total snaps.

The Titans also elevated running back Dontrell Hillard and defensive back Breon Borders from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Sunday.
