Titans open as big road favorites over Jags for Week 14

The Titans have beaten the Jags in six of the last seven meetings between these two teams.

The Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars will meet for the second and final time this season in Duval on Sunday in Week 14.

The Jags have been in a downward spiral since winning their Week 1 game, as Jacksonville has lost 11 games in a row. The Titans contributed to that losing streak by beating the Jags 33-30 in Week 2.

With the Titans sitting in first place in the AFC South and the Jaguars owning the second-worst record in the NFL, it comes as no surprise that BetMGM has Tennessee as a hefty favorite over Jacksonville.

Spread: Titans -7.5

Money Line: -350/+290

Over/Under: 53.5

The big difference with these two teams between the last meeting and this one is who is under center for the Jags. Gardner Minshew is no more for Jacksonville, as Mike Glennon has taken over. That’s good news for the Titans, who have had issues with Minshew in the past.

The Jags have been playing fairly well of late. Against two tough opponents the last two weeks, the Cleveland Browns and the Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville has lost by a combined total of five points.

Tennessee has dominated Jacksonville in the pair’s last seven meetings, with the Titans emerging victorious in six of them, including each of the past two matchups.
