Titans offense has one of the NFL’s lowest turnover rates

On offense with quarterback Ryan Tannehill at the helm, the team has one of the lowest turnover rates in the NFL.

The Tennessee Titans weren’t able to get the job done against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, falling 38-28 in Nissan Stadium in the final home game of the year.

The team still has a chance of making it into the postseason, and has shown bright spots on both sides of the ball.

On offense with quarterback Ryan Tannehill at the helm, the team has one of the lowest turnover rates in the NFL, tied with the Buffalo Bills at 9.1% according to ESPN.

The Saints (4.1%), Green Bay Packers (5.3%), New England Patriots (6.7%), Kansas City Chiefs (7.7%), Baltimore Ravens (7.7%), Denver Broncos (9.3%) and the Minnesota Vikings (9.3%) were also on the list.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (19.8%), New York Giants (18.1%), Los Angeles Chargers (17.9%), Carolina Panthers (16.1%) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (16.0%) were among the highest in the league in the category.

The percentages were all based on offensive turnover per drive.

The Titans will want to make turnovers a non-factor on offense as they face the Houston Texans for the second time of the season in Week 17.

The latest meeting between the two teams resulted in a close, 24-21 Texans win in Nashville, Tennessee.

The two teams are set to kick off at 3:25 p.m. CST on Sunday in NRG Stadium.
