Titans’ Mike Vrabel takes to Twitter to disagree with ruling in Chiefs-Broncos game

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel took to Twitter on Sunday night to disagree with a ruling made in the Chiefs-Broncos game.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel took to Twitter on Sunday night to voice his disagreement with a call made by NFL officials in the contest between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos.

The play in question saw Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce appear to fumble the football after a catch, only to have the play ruled as an incomplete pass, creating a controversy in the “Sunday Night Football” matchup.

After the NFL’s officiating Twitter account tweeted out a clip of the play and the reasoning for the ruling, Vrabel replied to it with a page out of the rule book, showing his disagreement with the call.

The tweet was surprising to say the least, as Vrabel normally isn’t active on Twitter, nor does he usually do anything to draw attention to himself, especially when it comes to criticizing NFL officiating.

With their 22-9 win over the Broncos, the Chiefs now own the same record as the Titans at 8-4, but Tennessee owns the tie-breaker for playoff seeding after having topped Kansas City, 27-3, in Week 7.

The Titans currently sit in the No. 2 seed in the AFC and could jump to No. 1 if the Buffalo Bills beat the New England Patriots on “Monday Night Football.” The Chiefs are in the No. 4 spot entering Week 14.

Tennessee will return to action after having its bye in Week 13 with a Week 14 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Nashville. The Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders.
