Tennessee Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler is doing his part to help those impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online, Butler is making a donation to help out healthcare workers and first responders in Nashville who are on the front lines by providing supplies and meals. The donation will also cover testing kits for the people of Nashville.
Also per Wyatt, in his hometown of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Butler is making a separate donation to help feed seniors who cannot leave their homes and go out to shop because of the coronavirus outbreak.
“I feel like it is very important, and each individual has a role in this situation,” Butler said. “Just like Miss Amy (Adams Strunk), Jon Robinson, and Mike Vrabel, we all have a job to do. So I think it’s a good idea for me to do my role. All the health care workers out there, first responders, they are putting themselves on the line for all of us.”
As an organization, the Titans have made a $50,000 donation to the United Way of Greater Nashville Response Fund in order to help those impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
