Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan leveled up in a big way in 2019, and it clearly showed on the stat sheet.
Ryan totaled 113 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 18 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions in what was an all-around great year for him.
Some of his performances ahead of his contract year weren’t the most impressive — which was also reflected by the numbers.
Ryan’s four takeaways came after not having a single one in the two previous seasons, and his total pass breakups were more than double his 2018 total.
Last season, he ranked first on Pro Football Focus’ list of cornerbacks with the most quarterback pressures with 15, tied with free agent Brandon Carr.
Brian Poole of the New York Jets was listed at third with a total of 11.

The future for Ryan with the Titans remains unclear, but he’s certainly got the support of teammates like safety Kevin Byard, who seem to believe he’s one of the most important pieces of the defense, per Paul Kuharsky.
“I’m a little scared because I know the kind of work he put in this year or just puts in, period,” he said. “I’ve worked out with him on the offseason. I know the production. This guy was probably the most productive guy if not on our defense on our team this year.”
A recent report suggests that Ryan won’t take less than $10 million per season, but considering he hasn’t signed anywhere yet, he might not be getting the kind of offers he desires.
