Titans listed among most improved teams after FA signings

There’s actually a member of the national media who has a positive take on the Titans’ offseason moves.

You may want to sit down for this one: There is a member of the national media who actually has a positive opinion of the Tennessee Titans’ 2024 offseason moves.

In the opinion of ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Titans are the most improved teams in the league after the first few weeks of free agency. Here’s what he had to say about it:

Tennessee has needs all over the field, so credit to GM Ran Carthon for recognizing the deficiencies and addressing them decisively in his first year without former coach Mike Vrabel. Calvin Ridley is a game-changer. Center Lloyd Cushenberry, running back Tony Pollard, linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. and corner Chidobe Awuzie will make immediate impacts.

In addition to the moves Fowler listed, the Titans also traded for a premier cornerback in L’Jarius Sneed, a move that was made official on Friday.

With Sneed in the mix, the Titans now have top-flight talent at a handful of positions, something this team was sorely lacking the past few years.

Granted, there is still work to be done, especially at left tackle, but there’s no doubt this roster is already in better shape than it was in 2023, and there’s rightly some hype for the Titans in 2024.
