One of the best move of the Tennessee Titans’ offseason was their decision to trade for kicker Nick Folk at the conclusion of the preseason.
The Arizona product has made all 13 of his field goals, which includes three from 50-plus yards out, as well as all seven of his extra points attempts. Folk is currently tied for the fifth-most amount of points scored in the NFL with a total of 46 after five games.
The Titans’ kicker is also within range of a record held by the kicker who will be standing on the opposite sideline come Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker holds the NFL record for most field goals made from under 40 yards, making a total of 70 straight kicks from 2016 through 2020.
Folk enters Sunday’s contest having made 67 straight field goals under 40, putting him in a tie with Shayne Graham for second place all time.

Folk’s streak began back in 2017, with his last miss occurring as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is now just three successful kicks away from tying the record and four from breaking Tucker’s legendary mark of 70 straight.
And it’s a mark that certainly could be broken within the next few games if the veteran kicker stays on the trajectory he’s currently on.
