Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel revealed after practice on Friday that both cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (knee) and tight end Jonnu Smith (knee) have been ruled out for the Week 13 game against the Cleveland Browns.
This will be the fourth straight game Jackson is inactive after being activated from Injured Reserve, and he has yet to suit up in a game this season.
On Thursday, Vrabel said that Jackson did not suffer a setback in his recovery, but is rather still working his way back. The Titans will have to wait another week to potentially get their No. 1 corner back.
Smith is set to miss his first game of the 2020 season and will likely be replaced primarily by backup tight end Anthony Firkser, who is the No. 2 pass-catching option at the position for Tennessee.
The Titans did receive some good news, as wide receiver Adam Humphries and tight end MyCole Pruitt both practiced fully all week and are set to make their returns on Sunday.
We’ll get the Titans’ official final injury report soon.
