Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons recently made the NFL Top 100 Players of 2023 list, but there was just one problem: the wrong picture was used for him.
Simmons landed at No. 58 on the list, dropping four spots from where he was last season. While we can certainly debate if that’s too low for one of the best players at his position in the NFL, there’s no debating how outlandish it is that the NFL can’t get the correct picture of him.
Along with the announcement for each player who makes the list, a video is made with some highlights and player comments. In Simmons’ video, whoever made it used Denico Autry’s picture, not Simmons’.
Simmons laughed it off but was still dumbfounded at the mistake, and rightly so.
lol this the second time this then happened… lol ESPN Radio threw up a high school picture during a interview, now this 😂 damn I’m going on year 5 and they still don’t know who I am huh… 🥱 https://t.co/aHhbxded3J

Titans players being overlooked by the national media is nothing new, but for a video coming from the league itself to not be correct just boggles the mind.
