Titans’ Jeffery Simmons expected to play vs. Packers

After sitting out last week, Big Jeff will reportedly make his return to the field in Week 11.

Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, who is dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of last week’s game, is reportedly expected to play in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers.

The news comes from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport. Simmons was listed as questionable on the final injury report ahead of Thursday.

Simmons has been dealing with the ankle issue for weeks now, which has kept him out or limited at practice ever since. However, he has only missed one game because of it and has still played at a high level when suiting up.

While Tennessee’s defense didn’t miss a beat without Simmons in Week 10, it goes without saying that the best version of this unit has Big Jeff in it.

The Titans and the Packers will kickoff from Lambeau Field on “Thursday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. EDT. You can check out all the viewing and listening information for the contest below.
