Titans injury report: Tony Pollard, Nick Folk out

The Tennessee Titans welcomed T’Vondre Sweat, Jeffery Simmons and Daryl Worley back to practice on Thursday on their injury report.

The Tennessee Titans hit the field on Thursday to continue their preparations for their battle with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday and welcomed back a couple of players.

This is some great news for a team that enters the week battered and bruised. After seeing 10 players sidelined due to injury on Wednesday, that number dropped to seven. That is still a large number but it is a step in the right direction. Jeffery Simmons, T’Vondre Sweat and Daryl Worley all returned and were full participants.

The biggest piece of news on the injury front came from special teams coach Colt Anderson, when he stated that the abdominal injury that is bothering kicker Nick Folk is a remnant of the groin injury that bothered him last week. If he can’t go this week against the Colts, expect Brayden Narveson to be activated from the practice squad to take his place.

Wide receiver Colton Dowell was again limited. At this stage there is no timeline for his return, but practicing again is a great first step.

The Titans’ complete injury report for Thursday can be found below.

Did not participate: LB Kenneth Murray (hamstring), WR Tyler Boyd (foot), K Nick Folk (abdomen), RB Tony Pollard (ankle), LB Luke Gifford (concussion), LB Otis Reese (ankle), Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (ankle)

Limited participant: WR Colton Dowell (knee)

Full participant: CB Roger McCreary (shoulder), OT Jaelyn Duncan (hamstring), DT Jeffery Simmons (NIR/rest), DT T’Vondre Sweat (shoulder), DB Daryl Worley (calf),
