The Tennessee Titans are moving down several spots in USA TODAY’s latest power rankings following their 40-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

In the latest version of the power rankings of USA TODAY’s Nate Davis, the Titans fall from the top five all the way to outside the top 10, landing in the No. 11 spot after Week 16.

Here’s a look at what Davis had to say:

11. Titans (5): Tantalizing as this team is, gotta be concerned about a defense that’s permitted at least 30 points seven times.

The 10 teams that sit in front of the Titans in Davis’ rankings are as follows:

  1. Chiefs
  2. Packers
  3. Bills
  4. Saints
  5. Ravens
  6. Buccaneers
  7. Seahawks
  8. Steelers
  9. Dolphins
  10. Browns

There’s no question that the Titans’ biggest concern right now is their defense, which sits at No. 23 in the NFL in points allowed per game.

Granted, the Titans do have one of the best offenses in the NFL that can cover for poor defensive play, but that won’t matter if Tennessee’s defense plays like it did on Sunday night when it allowed 40 points.

The Titans will look to turn the page on their Week 16 loss when they face the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Week 17 with a chance to wrap up the AFC South on the line.

With a victory, the Titans will have their first division crown since 2008. That won’t come easy against a Texans team that nearly beat them in Week 6 and sports Deshaun Watson under center, though.
