The Make-A-Wish (MAW) foundation has been impacting kids’ lives since 1980. Initially, it opened its doors to terminal patients, offering them one wish to be granted before they passed. Today, though, MAW grants wishes for kids with all kinds of illnesses, from terminal patients to those with life-long disabilities and health issues impacting their quality of life.
Earlier this month, the Tennessee Titans hosted four-year old Karsen to help grant his wish of becoming T-Rac.
We were thrilled to host 4-year-old Karsen & @MakeAWishMidTN earlier this month for Training Camp, where we granted Karsen's wish to meet @Titans_TRac đź’«
In addition, @_Quann4 surprised Karsen that he will get to be Junior T-Rac for a @Titans game this October đź’™ pic.twitter.com/V0Vfz6l9ur

The video follows T-Rac knocking on Karsen’s door to surprise him with an invitation to training camp. He’s little, so he’s very overwhelmed in the video but also incredibly shocked and excited!
Then, the video shows Karsen at training camp, where he talks to players and meets Brian Callahan. Jha’Quan Jackson comes to say hi, and he’s the one who gets to tell Karsen his actual wish is being granted: that he will get to be T-Rac Jr. when the Titans face the Indianapolis Colts in October.
Karsen’s face literally says it all! He is so surprised and so grateful he can’t even believe what is happening as he is hugging T-Rac.
If you’ve never seen the impact MAW has on a kid who has a medical disability affecting their quality of life, please look closely at Karsen’s face. Watch his mom’s reaction and the rest of his family. It’s not about them; it’s about Karsen.
These kids fight every day to be healthy, to be “normal,” to be accepted and to avoid medical appointments. Giving them and their families this feeling of joy also gives them some reprieve from the daily struggle. The impact reaches far beyond the child whose wish is being granted!
Be sure to look for Karsen on October 13 as T-Rac Junior when the Titans host the Colts.
