Titans held tryouts with three players on Tuesday

The Titans worked out two defensive backs and a tight end on Tuesday.

Despite not being on the practice field on Tuesday, the Tennessee Titans remained busy in other ways, with the team making roster moves and holding tryouts with three different players.

Before we get to the tryouts, the Titans promoted defensive lineman Kyle Peko from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. To make room, fellow defensive lineman Jayden Peevy was waived.

In addition to those two moves, the Titans released veteran defensive lineman Michael Dwumfour from the practice squad. It hasn’t been confirmed, but my guess is there’s a chance Peevy will take that spot should he clear waivers on Wednesday.

Now, a look at the three tryouts, which includes two defensive backs and a tight end, according to the league’s transactions wire. Tennessee is likely looking at these players for their open practice squad spot if Peevy isn’t brought back, or if there are injuries at the aforementioned positions.
