The Tennessee Titans are exploring their options at the quarterback position this offseason, and one of the avenues they might take to address it is the 2023 NFL draft.
Tennessee owns the No. 11 overall pick, but chances are they’ll miss out on the top signal-callers in this year’s draft, barring a significant trade up.
However, one quarterback the Titans are familiar with could be available in the second round or later in Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker, who the Titans are set to meet with ahead of the draft, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC2.
Hooker suffered a torn ACL late in the 2022 season, which no doubt hurt his draft stock and has led to experts mocking him all over the place.

Tennessee’s seeming interest in Hooker is nothing new, as the young signal-caller revealed the Titans were the first teams he met with at the Senior Bowl in Alabama.
“It’s been a gauntlet of teams for sure. You meet with everyone and I just have a blast talking ball,” Hooker told 104.5 The Zone. “The meeting with the Titans was really cool. Kind of a surreal moment for sure because that was the first team I talked to in the interview process. Just being able to sit down with the head man and talk ball was a blast.”
As far as his rehab goes, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Hooker got some positive news on his injury at the combine and is on track to be ready for the season-opener.
While Hooker did not take part in the combine, he has been impressing teams in interviews, per ESPN’s Matt Miller, and there is some thought that he may not last too far into Round 2.
