Titans have top-30 visit set with Georgia Tech’s Keion White

The Tennessee Titans reportedly have a top-30 visit set with Georgia Tech defensive lineman, Keion White.

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Titans are one of many teams to have a top-30 visit schedule with White, who figures to get drafted on Day 2.

White brings some versatility with him, as he can play both inside and out upfront. For more on the 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman, we turn to Lance Zierlein of NFL.com:

Athletic big man offering scheme versatility and projectable upside. White has good short-area quickness as well as speed in space. He lacks consistent early phase technique to control the rep, but his recovery talent, hustle and athletic traits put him in position to get in on the action. His pass rush is predictable and lacks focus, but he’s bendy and could take a big leap forward in this department provided the coaching catches up with the physical gifts. He’s still in the developmental phase, but his physical/athletic profile gives him a chance to become a plus starter as a 4-3 or 3-4 defensive end.

While the defensive line is Tennessee’s biggest strength, there are some question marks beyond 2023 that could lead to them drafting at that spot.

Assuming he signs his tender and isn’t poached away now, Teair Tart will be a free agent once again in 2024, and Denico Autry is entering the final year of his deal and will turn 33 in July.

Adding to that, Tennessee lost a valuable depth piece in DeMarcus Walker, a role White could play immediately upon being drafted.

I remain steadfast in believing the Titans won’t take a defensive player until the middle rounds at the earliest with all the holes they have on offense, but my guess is as good as anyone else’s.
