Titans have no new positive COVID-19 cases on Monday

The Titans remain on track to playing on Tuesday night.

The Tennessee Titans have taken the next step to playing their Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday night, as the team received no new positive COVID-19 tests on Monday after Sunday’s round of testing, according to multiple reports.

This marks the fourth day in a row that the Titans have avoided any new positives from players. The last positive the team received was on Sunday, but it came from a coach.

Per ESPN’s Turron Davenport, the Titans will hit the practice field once again on Monday, but the session will look similar to a typical Saturday practice, which is usually a walk-through.

Tennessee was able to get in a regular practice on Sunday with the NFL’s permission, despite coming up with the aforementioned positive test result. It was the team’s first full practice in over two weeks.

In the last two days, the Titans have removed a total of four players from the Reserve/COVID-19 list and should have them available for the Week 5 contest.

The list includes Tennessee’s 2020 first-round pick and offensive tackle, Isaiah Wilson, and practice squad defensive back Greg Mabin on Saturday, and long snapper Beau Brinkley and defensive lineman DaQuan Jones were activated on Sunday.

The Titans will be able to activate more players on Monday and Tuesday prior to the game versus the Bills as long as they pass the testing protocol.
