With speculation that the Tennessee Titans could have interest in a trade for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Julio Jones, Las Vegas has listed the team among those with the best odds to land him.
Of the 11 teams listed, the Titans (+600) are tied for the fourth-best odds with the Los Angeles Chargers. Ahead of the Titans are the Baltimore Ravens (+275), San Francisco 49ers (+300), and New England Patriots (+450).
The Pats in particular were linked to possible interest in Jones on Saturday thanks to a new report from NFL Network’s Mike Giardi, which states that New England has had discussions about trading for the veteran.
Julio Jones next team IF traded:
Ravens +275
49ers +300
Patriots +450
Chargers +600
Titans +600
Colts +700
Packers +900
Eagles +1000
Giants +1400
Bills +1400
Cowboys +1600— BetOnline.ag (@betonline_ag) May 21, 2021
While nothing concrete has surfaced about the Titans’ potential interest, and general manager Jon Robinson was mum when asked about it, the fit makes sense considering Tennessee’s need for wide receiver help.
Making things more interesting, Titans running back and fellow Alabama product, Derrick Henry, posted a video to Instagram of himself and Jones working out together, adding fuel to the fire.
Of course, players from different teams working out together is nothing new, but it’s still significant considering Henry’s recent endorsement for Jones joining him in Tennessee.
The Titans would need to open up cap space to fit Jones in, but if Robinson can get it done with contract restructures and Tennessee is able to land Jones, an offense featuring he, Henry and Brown would be damn-near unstoppable.
