In a game marred by penalties and turnovers, the Tennessee Titans fell to the Cincinnati Bengals, 37-27, in Week 15 action.
The Titans’ offense was ineffective behind quarterback Will Levis. He struggled mightily before finally being pulled in favor of Mason Rudolph in the second half after committing his fourth turnover, including his fourth pick-six of the season.
The defense wasn’t much better, the pass rush was once again invisible and the secondary was overmatched by the Bengals’ explosive offense.
The Titans now fall to 3-11 on the season and sit at the bottom of the AFC South standings.
Here’s a look at how fans reacted to the loss on X.
Well the @Titans wanted @ryantannehill1, @KingHenry_2, and Vrabel gone and now they don’t have a QB, HC, or anything that resembles an offense. As a result, I’m spending my Sundays doing other things and other #Titans fans are too. AAS you are a JOKE. #TitanUp #Tennessee

Realising the next 4 months is just #Titans fans convincing themselves that Sanders/Ward are franchise QBs and this isn’t just going to be a repeat of the 2022 QB class.

Brian Callahan pulls Will Levis for turnovers then Tony Pollard has a fumble returned for a touchdown and the next drive Mason Rudolph throws it right to a Bengals corner back🤦♂️
You might want to consider benching yourself Brian Callahan#Titans #TitanUp #TitansDown⬇️— Eric Willoughby (@willouej) December 15, 2024
There have been how many penalties today during the #Bengals #Titans game? pic.twitter.com/RQt304wAxa

Game over. Titans score on final seconds of the game, but still lose 37-27 to #Bengals and drop to 3-11. A lot of crazy things in this one, but all you need to know is Titans had 6 turnovers.@FOXNashville #Titans #TitanUp

These last 2 games are some of the ugliest back to back games in #Titans history. Out on Levis, out on Callahan, out on Ran. But hopefully all the people who applauded the firing of Vrabel are happy.

I don’t know that I’ve seen a sloppier game than I just watched in the #Bengals and the #Titans.

I’m just gonna say this on the record as a #Titans fan. Neither Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward at QB will positively impact next season for the Titans. It’s not because of ability, but instability of structural integrity on all fronts. Sorry 😞 but I have to keep it 💯

#Bengals vs #Titans might have been the ugliest #NFL game I’ve ever seen. 26 combined penalties and 10 combined turnovers. At least the Bengals got a W. pic.twitter.com/lgR0wjqm11
