The Tennessee Titans are set to host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in a battle between two desperate teams with identical 1-2 records.
This isn’t a must-win game by any means, but it’s certainly about as close as you can get for Week 4. Neither team wants to start its season 1-3, especially when you consider the high expectations both had entering the year.
The Titans are bringing some extra help from the practice squad for this one, as the team has elevated both defensive back Shyheim Carter and tight end Kevin Rader.
They will revert back to the practice squad at the conclusion of the game.
The #Titans are activating DB Shyheim Carter and TE Kevin Rader from the practice squad as gameday elevations for Sunday’s game vs the @Bengals.

Assuming they are active, Rader will give Tennessee another blocker at tight end while Carter will provide some insurance in the secondary with fellow defensive back Elijah Molden ruled out.
Kickoff for this AFC showdown between the Titans and Bengals is set for noon CT inside at Nissan Stadium.
