Titans’ Derrick Henry reaches another career milestone in Week 12

Titans running back Derrick Henry reached yet another career milestone in Week 12 against the Panthers.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry reached yet another career milestone during the Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Henry entered the contest just two rushing yards shy of 9,000 for his career, but he crossed that mark during the first quarter of the contest, making him the 39th player in NFL history to do so.

Not only did Henry accomplish that feat, he also found the end zone for the Titans’ first score of the game to give them a 7-0 lead.

The Titans great sits at 39th on the all-time rushing yards list. He’ll likely need a few more weeks, at least, to move up to No. 38, where former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green has 9,205 rushing yards.

The Alabama product currently ranks second on the franchise’s all-time rushing yards list behind Eddie George, who is at 10,009. That’s a mark Henry will need another season to break, but he may not get the opportunity if he goes elsewhere in free agency in 2024.
