The Tennessee Titans signed defensive lineman Denico Autry to help bolster their group upfront, and the pass-rush overall, but is the team planning on deploying him at outside linebacker, also?
For the first time that we’ve seen during training camp, Autry was doing work with the outside linebackers, as was noted by Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
“DL Denico Autry worked with the outside linebackers during the individual drills. Autry usually works with the defensive lineman,” Wyatt wrote.
ESPN’s Turron Davenport also provided video of Autry doing an individual drill with the positional unit. At first, it looks like the veteran is just helping out, but then he takes his turn.
Check this out. Denico Autry is working with the OLBs during individual period for the #Titans today. That's him engaged with Rashad Weaver then taking his turn disengaging afterward. pic.twitter.com/cOzVB3xUkG

During his time with the Indianapolis Colts, Autry typically played either 3-technique defensive tackle or strong side defensive end in the team’s 4-3 defense.
With the Titans, we expect him to spend his time mostly at defensive end, and perhaps some at nose tackle — but now we have to consider that he might be used in more ways than just those two.
