Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins’ status for the Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns is up in the air.
After starting the week with a full practice, Hopkins was limited on Thursday and did not practice on Friday, per Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com.
Following practice on Friday, Hopkins said he plans on traveling with the team but did not reveal if he would play or not.
“I feel good about everything going into this week,” Hopkins said. “I’m just trusting the plan and just ready to go out when my number is called.”
While Hopkins’ course of action at practice during the week would normally be a big reason for concern, it’s important to note he didn’t practice at all last week before suiting up and recording four catches for 40 yards, which included a huge grab in overtime.
.@DeAndreHopkins said he plans to travel with #Titans to Cleveland, tho his status TBD. Hopkins missed practice Friday with the ankle injury. "I feel good about everything going into this week. … I'm just trusting the plan and just ready to go out when my number is called."

As far as “the plan” is concerned, Hopkins revealed it is head coach Mike Vrabel’s and the idea is to get him fully healthy.
“I would say just me being a, as you guys say, older veteran player, just taking some time to kind of get healthy all the way,” he said, per Sam Phalen of AtoZ Sports. “So I wouldn’t say it’s the same plan as last week, I would just say… trusting Vrabel’s plan.”

It sure sounds like Hopkins is going to play on Sunday despite the downward trajectory of practice participation, but we won’t know for sure until the inactives are released on Sunday morning.
