Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Shane Bowen was one of three coaches made available to the media on Day 2 of organized team activities.
The other coaches who spoke to the media were special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman and offensive coordinator Tim Kelly. You can check out what Aukerman had to say here, and what Kelly had to say here.
One of the topics Bowen broached was the status of safety Kevin Byard, who has yet to arrive to the facility during the voluntary portion of the offseason program, which is a departure from years past.
“Obvously he’s a huge part of what we do here,” Bowen said, per ESPN’s Turron Davenport. “I think for the young guys, they miss him. I have zero, zero doubt that Kevin Byard is going to be ready to go when he gets here.”
Bowen also spoke about Harold Landry’s ACL, some of his new players and more, all of which you can check out below.
