Titans’ Darrynton Evans suffers knee injury vs. Falcons

Evans suffered the leg injury after his fourth carry of the game.

Tennessee Titans running back Darrynton Evans suffered a knee injury during a first quarter run against the Atlanta Falcons in Preseason Week 1 and is questionable to return.

Evans was attempting to break a run to the outside when he gave up on it after feeling the non-contact injury. He was able to walk around after the play, but was clearly limping on the sideline.

Up until that point, Evans, who got the start at running back, carried the ball four times for 26 yards, including a long run of 15 yards. He also fielded one kick return for 20 yards.

In 2020, Evans missed the majority of his rookie campaign due to injury, so there is a little extra concern here. We’d be shocked to see him again on Friday night.

We’ll update this article as more information becomes available.
