Tennessee Titans wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert picked a bad time to go on vacation in Jamaica, as the country was hit by Hurricane Beryl the same week he’s there.
Tolbert tweeted through the storm, which was a Category 4 hurricane as it passed through Jamaica. The veteran coach even shared a picture of the ballroom of his resort, which was filled with people waiting it out.
However, later that night, Tolbert revealed that after 12 hours, he was allowed to return to his room and everything was fine, which we could not be happier to hear.
Then, on Monday, Tolbert shared a picture of he and his family enjoying themselves.

The Titans hired Tolbert as their new wide receivers coach earlier this offseason. He’s replacing former wide receivers Coach Rob Moore, who went to the Carolina Panthers in the wake of former head coach Mike Vrabel being fired.
Tolbert will oversee what projects to be one of the better wide receivers rooms in the NFL.
