The Titans take the first step towards preparing for the 2022 campaign on Monday.

The Tennessee Titans will take their first step towards preparing for the 2022 campaign on Monday.

The Titans are one of 13 NFL teams that will begin their offseason workout program on April 18. The list also includes the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Washington Commanders.

The nine-week voluntary portion of the offseason program will include team meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehab, but no actual on-field work.

Here’s a look at Tennessee’s schedule for Organized Team Activities (OTAs):

May 23-24

May 26

May 31-June 2

June 6-9

Rookie minicamp should take place within a few weeks after the 2022 NFL draft, which ends on April 30, and the Titans will hold their mandatory minicamp from June 14 through 16.

Following that, training camp will begin sometime in late July. The Titans’ 2021 training camp began on July 28.

The Titans’ offseason just got a bit more interesting on Monday morning, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tennessee wide receiver A.J. Brown would skip the on-field portion of the Titans’ program in search of a new contract.

Brown isn’t alone, though, as fellow 2019 draft picks and wide receivers, the San Francisco 49ers’ Deebo Samuel and the Washington Commanders’ Terry McLaurin, are expected to do the same.
