For the second straight year, the Tennessee Titans have been ravaged by injuries throughout the roster, which makes their 5-3 start even more impressive.
Last season, the Titans broke an NFL record when they fielded 91 players during the course of the campaign, a record they may approach in 2022.
As of right now, the Titans have a grand total of 13 players on injured reserve but the hope is two of them — cornerback Elijah Molden and wide receiver Treylon Burks — will come back this week.
Through nine weeks of the 2022 campaign, the Titans are among the league leaders in most games missed by injured players, coming in at No. 4 with 125, per Man Games Lost.
The only teams with more are the Seattle Seahawks (145), New Orleans Saints (136) and Baltimore Ravens (130). One spot behind the Titans are the New York Giants (124).

Interestingly enough, four of the five teams on this list have been able to overcome their injury woes and have success. The Giants, Seahawks and Ravens all have six wins, while the Titans have five.
The Titans released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday, and on it six players did not practice, including Jeffery Simmons, Teair Tart, Zach Cunningham, Bud Dupree, Amani Hooker and Josh Thompson.
Chances are the Titans are going to add to this total by the end of the week.
