Titans’ A.J. Brown (illness) to play in Week 6 vs. Bills

Brown will play against the Bills after being downgraded on Sunday.

After being downgraded to questionable with an illness, Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown will play against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, according to multiple beat writers.

In a now-deleted tweet, Brown seemed to suggest his illness might have been food-related.

“Never eating fast food again I promise,” Brown tweeted.

Whatever the case may be, the Titans will have both of their top receivers, with fellow wideout Julio Jones also set to suit up.

As far as how many snaps Brown will play remains to be seen. Earlier in the week, he suggested that he could be on a limited snap count until Week 10 after dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the Week 4 contest against the New York Jets.

In Week 5, the Ole Miss product admitted he was limited after playing just 40 snaps. We’ll see how many plays Brown in what will be the Titans’ toughest test of the 2021 campaign on Monday night.
