Since coming down with food poisoning after eating Chipotle, Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown says he has heard from the company, but that won’t be enough for him to eat it again.
Brown suffered the food poisoning ahead of the Week 6 matchup with the Buffalo Bills, something he was still feeling the effects of as recently as Thursday.
When asked if Chipotle had reached out to him, Brown said they indeed have. He also stated he’s ready to give up all fast food.
“Yeah, Chipotle has reached out to me,” Brown said with a smile. “They want to know my location and possibly do something with me.”

Is he willing to give Chipotle a second chance?
“I’m not eating it, though… No sir.”
Throughout the week, Brown says he has heard from other players, wishing him well, but thrown in there have been Chipotle jokes, probably similar to the one Derrick Henry told when he said he wanted to “make sure we had enough toilet paper for him.”
“A lot of Chipotle jokes,” Brown said. “A lot of jokes here and there, but guys reaching out, just making sure I’m OK.”
While Brown is ready to give up Chipotle, his teammate and wide receiver, Marcus Johnson, is not.
“I got a lot of love for Chipotle,” Johnson said, laughing. “They need to holler at me, talk to me.”
As far as Brown’s status for Week 7 goes, he was back at practice on Friday and appears on track to playing on Sunday.
“We are feeling a little better,” Brown said. “I just have to be selective to what I eat. That’s all… Everything’s good, I’ll do whatever to prepare; IVs and everything. I’ll be fine.”
