The Tennessee Titans have added another safety to their training camp roster.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who cites agent Drew Rosenhaus, the Titans have agreed to terms with safety Walt Aikens.
Former Chargers’ CB Trevor Williams reached agreement with the Eagles and former Dolphins’ S Walt Aikens reached agreement with Titans, per @RosenhausSports.

The 29-year-old was a fourth-round pick of the Miami Dolphins back in 2014 and has spent all six years of his career with the franchise. In 2019, Aikens totaled 21 combined tackles (one for loss) and one pass defended.
While the 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety did play on nearly 700 defensive snaps with Miami over the course of his tenure there, he played predominantly on special teams, an area he excelled at.
The Titans recently brought in three defensive backs for tryouts, but Aikens was not one of them. Tennessee doesn’t really have much of a need at safety right now, so it appears they’re looking for help on special teams.
