Titans agree to terms on one-year deal with Morgan Cox

The Titans are bringing their long snapper back.

The Tennessee Titans announced they are bringing back long snapper Morgan Cox on a one-year deal. The value has yet to be revealed.

Cox signed with the Titans in free agency last offseason after spending his first 11 seasons in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens, a stint that saw him make four Pro Bowls and one First-Team All-Pro.

We expect his new one-year pact to be close to the $1.21 million he made with the Titans in 2021.

Tennessee brought the veteran in hoping he could stabilize the position after Beau Brinkley flamed out in 2020. Cox did just that, and even garnered Pro Bowl consideration before ultimately not getting enough votes.

While Cox’s spot on the 2022 Titans is now set, the status of fellow special teamers like kicker Randy Bullock and punter Brett Kern are up in the air. Kern is a cut candidate, while Bullock is set to hit the open market.
