The Tennessee Titans announced a pair of roster moves on Wednesday, one of which includes the addition of veteran defensive back, Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
The other involves the placement of fellow defensive back Chris Jones on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Jones, who was signed back in April, is the first Tennessee player to hit the list this offseason.
Boddy-Calhoun was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016 but never played in a game for them.
He has spent five seasons in the league, appearing in games for the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers — and has now hit for the cycle, spending time with each AFC South team.
The 28-year-old has played in 47 games (22 starts) during his career. He got into one game for the Niners last season and has played in a grand total of four over the past three seasons.
Boddy-Calhoun will compete for a depth role at safety. The Titans will hold their first practice of training camp on Wednesday.
