Titans activate WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from COVID-19 list

The Titans now have eight players remaining on the COVID-19 list.

The Tennessee Titans have activated yet another player from the COVID-19 list ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

The team announced it has activated wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday.

With Westbrook-Ikhine’s activation, the Titans now have eight players on the list, including wide receiver Julio Jones, outside linebacker Bud Dupree, defensive lineman Denico Autry, cornerback Buster Skrine, backup tackle Kendall Lamm, linebacker Jayon Brown, and practice squad players such as wide receiver Cody Hollister and defensive back Briean Boddy-Calhoun.

The good news for Tennessee is that the key players on that list can still be activated in time for Sunday’s game after the modification of the COVID-19 protocols agreed upon by the NFL and NFLPA.

The Titans will look to wrap up the AFC South and possibly improve their playoff positioning when they take on the Dolphins in Week 17.
