And another trade: Chargers dealing DB Desmond King to the Titans, per source.

The Tennessee Titans are reportedly making a much-needed addition to their secondary, as the team is trading for Los Angeles Chargers defensive back, Desmond King, according to multiple reports.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the deal, which has the Titans sending a sixth-round pick to the Chargers in exchange for the former All-Pro, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This amounts to a huge addition for the Titans, a team that sports one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. Tennessee’s struggling secondary is ceding 268.7 passing yards per game, the sixth-most in the NFL.
King has posted an impressive overall PFF grade of 74.0 this season and has experience playing in the slot. On top of being an impact addition in the secondary, King has experience returning punts, also.
Along with Adoree’ Jackson, who could return in Week 9, and Malcolm Butler, the Titans will have a much more formidable secondary with King in the mix. He’ll likely be deployed in the slot.
The talented defensive back had fallen out of favor in Los Angeles and publicly questioned why he wasn’t getting more playing time, leading to him ultimately being traded. It isn’t clear what led to that situation, though.
If King can produce the way he has during his Chargers career, the Titans would be getting quite the steal considering it only cost them a sixth-round pick.
