On Friday, the NFL revealed the 2024 offseason workout program schedule for the Tennessee Titans and the rest of the NFL.
Because the Titans have a new head coach, the team will begin its offseason program one week earlier than teams with a returning head coach and can hold a voluntary veteran minicamp on top of the mandatory version.
Here’s a look at the dates for Tennessee’s offseason program, per NFL.com:
First Day: April 8
Voluntary Minicamp: April 22-24
OTA Workouts: May 20-21, May 23, May 28-29, May 31, June 10-13
Mandatory Minicamp: June 4-6
We don’t have a date for rookie minicamp just yet, but we do know that teams are permitted to hold one on either the first or second weekend following the NFL draft, which takes place from April 25-27.
The offseason program is broken down into three phases. Here’s a look at what each entails:
Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation only.
Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual or group instruction and drills, as well as “perfect play drills,” and drills and plays with offensive players lining up across from offensive players and defensive players lining up across from defensive players, conducted at a walk-through pace. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.
Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or “OTAs”. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.
As always, we’ll have full coverage of every aspect of the Titans’ offseason program that is open to the media.
