PHILADELPHIA–Shake Milton became a bit of a success story with the Philadelphia 76ers. The 54th overall pick of the 2018 draft blossomed into a reliable scorer off the bench for the Sixers and a player they can turn to at times to start when the team needed him to.
In five seasons with the Sixers, Milton averaged 9.3 points and 2.7 assists while shooting 36.5% from deep. He was a tough-minded player who was willing to do whatever it took to help Philadelphia win games.
Milton signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the offseason and made his return to the Wells Fargo Center with the Wolves on Wednesday night. The 6-year veteran opened up on his time with the Sixers, why he left to join the Timberwolves, and the growth of Tyrese Maxey on the floor.
