Tim Jenkins, the host of the YouTube channel, “All Things QB,” took the chance to break down Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix’s performance against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5 in a recent episode.
Jenkins takes fans through every play, good and bad, highlighting Nix’s ability to both evade rushers, stand in the pocket and deliver the ball to his receivers.
Nix had his best game as a pro against the AFC West foe, hitting 11 different receivers throughout the game, which set a franchise record.
One of the plays Jenkins highlighted was a big pass play from Nix to wide receiver Courtland Sutton late in the fourth quarter.
“Bo Nix says, ‘I’m going to work the one-on-one with my X receiver, and I’m going to throw a takeoff and we’re going to complete it,'” Jenkins narrates. “Just a great ball, great job with his eyes. Watch his eyes go to the right first, and then get back left. It’s exactly what you want to see.”
Nix finished the game 19-of-27 for 206 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a touchdown.
