Ex-NFL quarterback Tim Jenkins recently broke down Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix’s performance from the 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 8 on his YouTube channel, All Things QB.
Nix is coming off his best week yet, going 28-of-37 passing for 284 yards, three passing touchdowns and one rushing score. Nix also didn’t turn the ball over.
On Nix’s first throw, he delivered a huge strike to wide receiver Courtland Sutton. “We’ve got a really big in (route) from Bo Nix to Courtland Sutton,” said Jenkins. “Great play design, big third-down conversion.”
Nix had three passing touchdowns, but the one that Jenkins really spent time on was the second touchdown to tight end Nate Atkins.
“This one, I can’t, I can’t — I don’t think I can compliment it enough,” said Jenkins. “The Panthers are bringing pressure, and Bo works the progression; you can see his eyes start from the left, gets off of it. I think when he feels the safety leave the middle of the field, he feels that safety flying out of there, and then he says, “You know what? I’ve got one-on-one to my stick-nod, and it’s exactly what this play’s drawn up to attack. Stupid throw, ridiculous catch here. Absolutely ridiculous catch, that’s as good as it gets.”
Jenkins finished by saying, “This was one of those (games) where (everything) laid out perfectly for this Broncos offense.”

Nix will look to build on this performance when he faces the Baltimore Ravens on the road on Sunday.
