Tigers show no movement in latest NCAA college football re-rank despite latest win

While the Tigers saw no movement after their 34-28 win over Florida State on the road, Clemson does remain in the top five for the fourth week in a row.

Following their seventh win of the season on Saturday at Florida State, the Tigers continue to remain steady in USA TODAY Sports’ latest NCAA Re-Rank 1-131, which was released on Monday, after Week 7.

In the latest edition of the rankings, Clemson sits comfortably in the No. 5 slot for the fourth week in a row. The Tigers are one of eight teams included in the top 10 that are still undefeated.

Clemson is in good company, joining Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Tennessee in the top five ahead of Week 8. The Tigers remain the highest ranked ACC team in the poll with Wake Forest (11), Syracuse (14) and North Carolina (22) all closely following suit.

Clemson welcomes another undefeated ACC opponent in Syracuse to Memorial Stadium on Saturday, October 22, in celebration of Homecoming and Football Reunion Day. Kickoff is scheduled for noon on ABC.
