Clemson is making waves this season in Major League Baseball. So far this season, the Tigers have had 32 former players play in a professional game in 2022.
The Tigers have seven players including Jeremy Beasley (2017), Seth Beer (2016-18), Steven Duggar (2013-15), Dominic Leone (2010-12), Brad Miller (2009-11), Spencer Strider (2018,20), and Eli White (2014-16) in the majors. On Thursday it was announced via Twitter that the Cincinnati Reds are reportedly calling up former Clemson catcher Chris Okey (2014-16) on Friday, which would be the 8th Tiger to make it to the majors this year.
In addition to the seven major leaguers, the Tigers have seven at the AAA level with 24 total former players in the minors.
