Tiger Woods got robbed of an eagle after his ball somehow bounced out of the hole

How did this happen?

Tiger Woods’ shot was perfect — until it wasn’t.

Woods seemed to have lined up an eagle on the second hole during his fourth and final round at Torrey Pines during the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open. He chipped the ball onto the green, and with one bounce, the shot bounced into the hole. Except it then immediately bounced out of the hole.

That’s right: Woods holed out of an eagle from 141 yards. He was not happy. After opening the round five spots back from the leader, John Brahm, Woods finished with a birdie on the second hole. He’ll have to make up ground in the coming holes.

Folks on Twitter were impressed — and disappointed.
