Thursday’s SEC Availability Report ahead of Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State

Here is Texas A&M’s updated injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s Week 8 road test vs. Mississippi State

Ahead of Texas A&M’s (5-1, 3-0 SEC) Week 8 road test against Mississippi State (1-5, 0-3 SEC) on Saturday afternoon, the second SEC-mandated availability report made its way to the public on Thursday night, as some change on the Aggies side is good new for the offense.

Early on Wednesday, Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko further confirmed that starting quarterback Conner Weigman is healthy and back to full strength after his first start in nearly a month in the win against Missouri. Along the offensive line, starting center TJ Shanahan is healthy and ready to return to the lineup for the first time in the last two games.

However, freshman wide receiver Terry Bussey was listed as questioniable on Wednesday, giving him a 50% chance to play against the Bulldogs, but within Thursday’s report, Bussey is now probable, giving him a 75% chance to suit up for the matchup. Third string quarterback Jaylen Henderson is still listed as doubtful.

Six players are confirmed out for the Mississippi State, while three defenders are either questionable or doubtful to play.

Texas A&M will face Mississippi State on the road on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 3:15 p.m. CT. The game will air on the SEC Network.
