The Oklahoma City Thunder have found themselves down another starter.
Wing Luguentz Dort left the game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday with left knee soreness and will not return, the Thunder announced during halftime.
Dort played the first nine minutes of the game and was subbed out at the 2:56 mark in the first quarter. The Thunder didn’t say exactly when Dort hurt his knee, but it may have been during the driving layup attempt he missed one Thunder possession before he was subbed out.
Justin Jackson checked in at that point and Dort did not appear in the second half.
Dort was scoreless on 0-for-5 shooting from the field and 0-for-2 from 3. He had a pair of assists over his nine minutes of play.
He and forward Darius Miller, who played four minutes, were the only two Thunder players who did not score a point in the first half.
Dort joins guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and George Hill on the bench as the injured Thunder starters. Oklahoma City now has just nine active players against the Rockets, who are without John Wall and David Nwaba.
Oklahoma City led the Rockets 54-43 at halftime.
