Thunder-Rockets Game 7, winner plays Lakers Friday: How To Watch

The opponent for the Los Angeles Lakers in the next round will be determined by tonight’s crucial Game 7.

The Los Angeles Lakers will finally know who their second-round opponent is when the night ends on Wednesday. Tonight’s Game 7 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets has a myriad of storylines. After Chris Paul took over Game 6, the Thunder gave themselves a chance for an “anything can happen” situation against the Rockets, who went up 2-0 earlier in the series.

Lakers forward Jared Dudley has already gone on the record saying he believes the Rockets are the better team, but that’s why they play the game.

The Rockets will need more from their stars in Game 7 to advance. James Harden faded in the 4th quarter and Russell Westbrook failed to pick up the necessary slack in the clutch to help the Rockets survive. As for the Thunder, Chris Paul was amazing and Danilo Gallinari hit some shots, but they will need a more complete performance in order to pull off the upset and a chance to face the Lakers. If the Thunder advance, we will be treated to the first-ever playoff series between LeBron James and Chris Paul.
