Through two months of the season, the Oklahoma City Thunder continued to play competitive basketball even with absences of important players including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Al Horford and George Hill.
Entering Friday, the Thunder are 13-19 under first-year head coach Mark Daigneault. The team didn’t collapse when those aforementioned players — and Theo Maledon — were out of the lineup, making most games close off team defense and frequent ball movement on offense.
With 32 games off the schedule, we’re giving players their second-month grades. These are based off not only play, but expectations entering the month. See January grades here.
All stats are accurate as of Friday.
