The Oklahoma City Thunder will have two starters back in the lineup against the Washington Wizards on Friday.
Wing Lu Dort, who missed the last two games due to a hip injury, returns to the lineup. Forward Aleksej Pokusevski, who was subbed out of the game Wednesday with an illness, will also play against the Wizards.
This will be the second Thunder game against the Wizards this week. Dort missed the first one due to a hip injury, and Oklahoma City lost 119-107. He will be able to take some pressure off Darius Bazley, who has been the leading scorer the last two games and defended Russell Westbrook on Monday.
Pokusevski had eight points, five rebounds and six turnovers against the Wizards in the matchup earlier this week.
On the Thunder’s injury report is Josh Hall (knee), Mike Muscala (ankle), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (plantar fasciitis), Gabriel Deck (not with team) and Al Horford (out). Deck has arrived in Oklahoma City, head coach Mark Daigneault confirmed, but he has yet to pass COVID-19 testing protocols.
The starting lineup for Oklahoma City will be Theo Maledon, Dort, Pokusevski, Bazley and Moses Brown.
The Wizards will likely start Westbrook, Raul Neto, Bradley Beal, Davis Bertans and Alex Len.
