Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will miss his second game in a row when the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Denver Nuggets on Friday, according to the NBA league injury report.
In total, this will be the fourth game he has missed with the left knee sprain. He injured it on Feb. 1 and missed two games before returning for the next two. He tweaked it in the game on Monday and missed the game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
Backup guard Theo Maledon will also once again be out. He is in the COVID-19 health and safety protocols. He has missed the last two games and three of the last four.
Isaiah Roby is questionable. He was a gametime decision against the Lakers on Wednesday and warmed up before being ruled out. He has now missed three games with right foot soreness.
Head coach Mark Daigneault said before the game Wednesday that Roby is close to a return.
The lineup will presumably be the same it was Wednesday with Hamidou Diallo, Lu Dort, Kenrich Williams, Darius Bazley and Al Horford suiting up. Available off the bench will be Mike Muscala, Justin Jackson and Darius Miller.
Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. Central time.
