Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Hervey, who played last season on a two-way contract, signed with Lokomotiv Kuban in the Russian VTB United League, according to The Oklahoman.
Lokomotiv Kuban announced Monday that it is a one-year deal.
This season was Hervey’s first with NBA action. He appeared in 10 games, tallying 52 minutes, and scoring a total of 17 points to go with 12 rebounds.
He joined the Thunder in the 2019-20 season from the G League. He was drafted by Oklahoma City with the No. 57 pick in the 2018 draft and spent that season with the Thunder’s developmental program, where he averaged 11 points and 6.7 rebounds in about 23 minutes per game.
Last season, he increased those G League numbers to 12 points and 7.4 rebounds in more than 25 minutes per game.
Now, the 24-year-old will play in the Russian league on a team that has four former NBA players.
